The advent of mobile apps gave birth to a plethora of food delivery apps. Most of them are tie ups with restaurants, delivering their food, but we recently came across Curry Haus, which serves from its own kitchen in Gurgaon; from Masala House’s exclusive menu in South Delhi and is planning to expand pan India soon.
The menu is vast – so much so, our order from Curry Haus was a demographically varied treat – some dishes attributed to the north while some were from the Malabar Coast & biryani from the land of Awadhs, everything was covered. And this not even 1/4th of the menu, so many more orders to try everything in the menu 🙂
our order, neatly packed
From the starters we ordered the Kandhari Murgh Tikka (245) – 6 pieces of succulent chicken, in a cumin marinade, roasted – subtle but amazing flavors. The smart choice of using chicken thigh pieces kept the pieces almost melt in the mouth.

From the curries section, Dal Makhani (195), Paneer Makhani ( 245) and Chicken Chettinad ( 350) were the chosen ones. Although we loved all the items, Chicken Chettinad was the favorite – one of the best we have had, with the heat and the sweetness balancing each other really well. Dal Makhani is as you would expect – creamy, buttery and every bite infused with flavors.
Mutton Biryani, Paneer Kulcha, Pudina Parantha and Mirchi Parantha were the staples – the mutton biryani made in the Awadhi style served with a portion of raita is a treat for biryani lovers. The kulcha/paranthas were not dripping oil and were well cooked, maintaining the tastes they promised.
Curry Haus delivers in almost all of Gurgaon from the 5 outlets and also in South Delhi. With plans of pan India expansion on charts, Curry Haus will surely dominate the home delivery market very soon. The next time you think about ordering food, don’t even look beyond Curry Haus. Details below.
