Our first visit to ChaoBella was during the Chinese New Year Festival (read our experience here). The grandeur of restaurant amazed us and then the icing on the cake was the food. Serving two cuisines under a roof is the USP of the restaurant and they do full justice to both of them. This time around ChaoBella is hosting the Med Fest – Mediterranean Food Festival.
With origin from the countries adjoining the Mediterranean Sea, the cuisine has influence of Lebanese, Italian and French cultures among others. Curated by Executive Chef Sudershan Bhandari, the Mediterranean Food Festival promises the best.
Relish a bowl of Yia Yia’s Avgolemono (lemon flavored chicken soup) or bite on to some Fattoush or Smoked Chicken Artichoke Salad. If you are a Pizza person – slices of Turkish Veg Pizza or Chicken Sausage Pizza await you. Choose from the Mac & Cheese/Seafood Spaghetti from the Pasta section or relish any meat from the mains – you have ample choices – Samkeh Harra (Tripoli style spicy fish), Cornfed Chicken Breast, Grecian Tenderloin (Greece Tenderloin), Margaret Keftedes (meat ball with spicy tomato sauce).
For a sweeter end, you can choose between Pears and Almond Tart or Blueberry Cheese Cake.
The festival is on from March 1 to March 20 and is available for dinner only.
